Before you share your story..
let me tell you mine..
I'm the director, founder of Rawh Studios and a mother of three girls.
My passion for photography began with my grandfather who gave me my first Polaroid camera, shaping my work influenced by the serene countryside of Brazil. Rawh Studios was born from a desire to embrace a simpler lifestyle. In a fast-paced world, raising kids made me appreciate life's true values. I'm here to guide you in creating a unique photography session, capturing moments in a calm and tailored environment, indoors or outdoors.
"I am super chill and a bit sarcastic! Let's dive into random talks about life, travel, and creating art. When we meet up, two things are guaranteed: stomach-hurting laughs and epic photo memories we'll create together."
About our Studio
Rawh is located in the heart of Brookvale. We not only offer a great setup here but also the flexibility to use nature and your own home to create your session and tailor it based on your vision and needs.
The experience in the studio is very fluid. Usually, the session starts with soft light, not many shadows, and as the sun starts to set, a more orange color is added to the space, and strong shadows come to life. Knowing how to position our clients and their products is something that comes with the experience and baggage we accrue over the years.
Whether it's an outdoor or indoor session, we are able to control the softness of the natural light, knowing the best hours to photograph.Rawh will help you create your visual identity without you losing your values and essence.
Career
My journey with photography began at the age of 9 when my grandfather gifted me my first Polaroid camera. While studying journalism at Uni in 2002, I delved deeper into photography, gaining experience in various areas such as product photography, real estate, portraits, and documentary work.
In 2006, I opened my first studio and later moved to São Paulo to pursue a post-graduate degree in photography, teaching online students across Brazil.T
Throughout my career, I've had numerous photo exhibitions, including 'Twelve Tribes,' documenting a closed community society, and 'Bodies of Lights,' a collection using light painting techniques. I blended painting with photography while capturing a religious traditional holiday in Brazil called 'Painting the Image.'
In 2009, I moved to Australia, working in various studios, leading me to establish Rawh Studios—a space for creation, collaboration, and memory-making.
Today, I am thrilled to share this exciting space with you. I'm here to assist you with both your personal and family portraits.
